Description

A delightful twist on classic tiramisu featuring fresh strawberries and rich mascarpone, perfect for any occasion.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound strawberries, sliced
  • 8 oz mascarpone cheese
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup brewed coffee, cooled
  • 24 ladyfinger cookies
  • Cocoa powder, for dusting


Instructions

  1. In a bowl, whip the heavy cream with powdered sugar and vanilla extract until soft peaks form.
  2. Gently fold the mascarpone cheese into the whipped cream mixture until you achieve a smooth consistency.
  3. Dip each ladyfinger in the cooled coffee for a few seconds to ensure they’re soaked but not mushy.
  4. In a serving dish, layer the soaked ladyfingers, then add a layer of the mascarpone mixture, followed by a layer of sliced strawberries.
  5. Repeat the layering until all ingredients are utilized, ensuring the top layer is the mascarpone mixture.
  6. Dust the top with cocoa powder for a lovely finish.
  7. Cover and refrigerate for at least 240 minutes, allowing the dessert to set beautifully.

Notes

For a different flavor, substitute strawberries with raspberries or blueberries. Serve in individual glasses for a personal touch.
