Ingredients
- 4 chicken breasts
- 1 can diced tomatoes
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup fresh basil, chopped

- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Place the chicken breasts in your slow cooker.
- In a separate bowl, combine the diced tomatoes, heavy cream, minced garlic, chopped basil, salt, and pepper. Stir well.
- Pour this mixture over the chicken breasts, coating them thoroughly.
- Cover the slow cooker with the lid and set it on low for 6-8 hours, or high for 3-4 hours.
- Once cooked, use two forks to shred the chicken within the sauce and mix well before serving.
Notes
For a lighter option, substitute heavy cream with half-and-half or plant-based cream. Adding crushed red pepper flakes can give it a kick.
