Ingredients
- 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon chili powder
- 1 teaspoon cumin
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 8 small corn or flour tortillas
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 2 tablespoons lime juice
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- Fresh cilantro, chopped (for garnish)
- Lime wedges (for serving)
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, toss the shrimp with olive oil, chili powder, cumin, salt, and pepper until well coated.
- Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and add the seasoned shrimp. Cook for about 2-3 minutes on each side, or until the shrimp turns pink and opaque.
- While the shrimp are cooking, combine sour cream, lime juice, and minced garlic in another bowl to create a zesty garlic lime crema.
- Warm up the tortillas in a dry skillet or microwave, just enough to make them pliable.
- Assemble your tacos by placing the cooked shrimp on the warm tortillas, drizzling with the garlic lime crema, and topping off with fresh cilantro. Serve immediately with lime wedges on the side for an extra zing!
