A luxurious blend of shrimp and crab layered with creamy Alfredo sauce and cheese, perfect for special occasions or cozy dinners.
Ingredients
- 12 sheets of lasagna noodles
- 1 pound crab meat
- 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 2 cups ricotta cheese
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 4 cups Alfredo sauce
- 1/2 teaspoon chili flakes
- 2 sprigs parsley, finely chopped
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 1/2 cup breadcrumb topping
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Cook the lasagna noodles according to the package instructions, then drain and set aside to cool.
- In a large pan over medium heat, warm the olive oil. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about one minute until fragrant.
- Toss in the shrimp and cook until they turn pink, about 3-4 minutes. Add the crab meat along with salt, black pepper, and chili flakes. Stir and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes before removing from heat.
- In a mixing bowl, combine ricotta, half of the Parmesan cheese, one cup of mozzarella, parsley, and heavy cream. Stir until the mixture is smooth and creamy.
- Spread a layer of Alfredo sauce on the bottom of a 9×13 inch baking pan.
- Layer the noodles over the sauce, followed by a portion of the cheese mixture, then some of the seafood mixture, drizzling with more Alfredo sauce. Repeat the layers until all ingredients are used, ending with noodles and a final layer of Alfredo sauce.
- Sprinkle the remaining mozzarella, Parmesan cheese, and breadcrumb topping on top.
- Loosely cover the pan with foil and bake for 25 minutes. Then, remove the foil and bake for another 10-15 minutes, until bubbling and golden brown.
- Let the lasagna rest for about 10 minutes before serving. Garnish with additional parsley.
Notes
For a lighter version, consider using low-fat cheeses or a lighter Alfredo sauce.
