Description

A luxurious blend of shrimp and crab layered with creamy Alfredo sauce and cheese, perfect for special occasions or cozy dinners.

Ingredients

  • 12 sheets of lasagna noodles
  • 1 pound crab meat
  • 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 2 cups ricotta cheese
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 4 cups Alfredo sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon chili flakes
  • 2 sprigs parsley, finely chopped
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumb topping

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cook the lasagna noodles according to the package instructions, then drain and set aside to cool.
  3. In a large pan over medium heat, warm the olive oil. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about one minute until fragrant.
  4. Toss in the shrimp and cook until they turn pink, about 3-4 minutes. Add the crab meat along with salt, black pepper, and chili flakes. Stir and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes before removing from heat.
  5. In a mixing bowl, combine ricotta, half of the Parmesan cheese, one cup of mozzarella, parsley, and heavy cream. Stir until the mixture is smooth and creamy.
  6. Spread a layer of Alfredo sauce on the bottom of a 9×13 inch baking pan.
  7. Layer the noodles over the sauce, followed by a portion of the cheese mixture, then some of the seafood mixture, drizzling with more Alfredo sauce. Repeat the layers until all ingredients are used, ending with noodles and a final layer of Alfredo sauce.
  8. Sprinkle the remaining mozzarella, Parmesan cheese, and breadcrumb topping on top.
  9. Loosely cover the pan with foil and bake for 25 minutes. Then, remove the foil and bake for another 10-15 minutes, until bubbling and golden brown.
  10. Let the lasagna rest for about 10 minutes before serving. Garnish with additional parsley.

Notes

For a lighter version, consider using low-fat cheeses or a lighter Alfredo sauce.
