Ingredients
- 8 oz linguine pasta
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 4 oz smoked salmon, sliced
- 1 tablespoon fresh dill, chopped
- Lemon wedges for serving
Instructions
- Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and cook 8 oz linguine according to package instructions until al dente.
- Drain the pasta, reserving a small cup of pasta water, and set aside.
- Heat 2 tablespoons olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Add 2 cloves minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.
- Pour in 1 cup heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer.
- Reduce heat and stir in 1/2 cup grated Parmesan until melted and smooth.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Add 4 oz sliced smoked salmon and 1 tablespoon chopped fresh dill to the skillet.
- Toss gently to combine and warm the salmon without breaking it into tiny pieces.
- Add the cooked linguine to the skillet and toss until well coated with the sauce.
- Serve immediately with lemon wedges on the side for squeezing.
Notes
