Ingredients
- 8 oz pasta (spaghetti, fettuccine, or your choice)
- 1 lb chicken breast, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Cook the pasta according to package instructions. Once al dente, drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for about 1-2 minutes, until fragrant.
- Add chicken pieces to the skillet. Season with salt and pepper, and cook until browned and fully cooked, around 6-8 minutes.
- Reduce heat and pour in the heavy cream, stirring to combine.
- Gradually mix in the Parmesan cheese, stirring continuously until it melts and forms a creamy sauce.
- Add the cooked pasta, tossing gently to coat each strand in the sauce.
- Garnish with fresh parsley before serving hot.
Notes
For a lighter version, swap the heavy cream for half-and-half. Feel free to add spinach or sun-dried tomatoes for extra flavor.
