Description

A simple and delightful recipe for banana bread that replicates the beloved Starbucks flavor, perfect for any time of the day.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 1/8 cups granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 2 tbsp buttermilk (or milk as a substitute)
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 3 very ripe bananas, mashed
  • 1/2 cup walnuts, chopped (optional; or chocolate chips for a sweeter twist)


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and lightly grease a 9×5 inch loaf pan.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon. Set aside.
  3. In another large bowl, beat together the sugar and egg until light and fluffy.
  4. Mix in the vegetable oil, buttermilk, and vanilla extract until well combined.
  5. Stir in the mashed bananas until fully incorporated.
