Delicious and vibrant skewers combining succulent chicken breast and juicy pineapple, perfect for summer grilling.
Ingredients
- 1 lb Chicken breast, cubed
- 1 cup Pineapple chunks (fresh or canned)
- 2 tbsp Olive oil
- ¼ cup Soy sauce
- 2 tbsp Honey
- 2 cloves Minced garlic
- 1 tsp Grated ginger
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Skewers (wooden or metal)
Instructions
- Combine olive oil, soy sauce, honey, minced garlic, grated ginger, salt, and pepper in a large bowl to create a marinade.
- Add the cubed chicken breast and pineapple chunks to the marinade, stirring until well-coated. Allow to marinate for at least 30 minutes.
- Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
- Thread the marinated chicken and pineapple alternately onto skewers.
- Grill the kabobs for 10 to 12 minutes, turning occasionally, until the chicken is cooked through (internal temperature of 165°F/75°C).
- Serve hot and enjoy your flavorful meal!
Notes
For best results, marinate the chicken and pineapple for up to 2 hours. Soak wooden skewers in water for 30 minutes before grilling to prevent burning.
