Ingredients
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2 large eggs
- 1 1/2 cups milk
- 1/4 cup melted butter
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Assorted toppings (maple syrup, fresh fruit, whipped cream, chocolate chips, etc.)
Instructions
- Whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt in a large mixing bowl until well mixed.
- Beat the eggs in a separate bowl, then mix in the milk, melted butter, and vanilla extract, stirring until smooth.
- Pour the wet mixture into the dry ingredients, gently stirring until just combined. Be cautious not to overmix!
- Heat a non-stick skillet or griddle over medium heat and lightly grease it to prevent sticking.
- Pour batter onto the skillet in your desired pancake size. Cook until bubbles form on the top, then flip to cook until both sides are golden brown.
- Transfer pancakes to a large board or platter and arrange them artistically. Serve with a variety of toppings.
Notes
For extra fluffiness, let the batter rest for about 10 minutes before cooking. Experiment with various mix-ins for different flavors.
