Ingredients
- 2 cups rolled oats
- 2 apples, diced
- 2 cups milk (or almond milk)
- 1/2 cup maple syrup or honey
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup chopped nuts (optional)
- 1/2 cup raisins or dried cranberries (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a baking dish.
- Combine the rolled oats, diced apples, milk, maple syrup or honey, cinnamon, vanilla extract, and salt in a large bowl. Stir until well mixed.
- Fold in the chopped nuts and raisins or dried cranberries, if using.
- Pour the mixture into the greased baking dish and spread it evenly.
- Bake for 30–35 minutes, until the top is golden and set.
- Let cool slightly before serving warm or refrigerating for later.
Notes
Use rolled oats for the right texture and allow the bake to cool for 10-15 minutes for easier slicing.
