Ingredients
- 1 cup peanut butter cookies, crushed
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 cup chocolate ganache
- 1 cup cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup peanut butter
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 1 cup heavy cream, whipped
- 1 cup chocolate mousse mix
- 1 cup whipped topping
- Melted peanut butter for drizzling
- Crunchy toppings (optional: chopped peanuts, chocolate shavings)
Instructions
- Combine the crushed peanut butter cookies with the melted butter until well mixed. Press this mixture firmly into the bottom of a 9×9 inch dish to form a sturdy crust.
- Prepare your chocolate ganache following the package instructions. Allow it to cool slightly before pouring over the prepared cookie crust.
- Beat the cream cheese, peanut butter, and powdered sugar until smooth. Gently fold in half of the whipped cream, then spread this mixture over the chocolate ganache layer.
- Prepare the chocolate mousse according to package directions, then layer it over the peanut butter mixture.
- Spread the remaining whipped topping on top for an additional layer of fluffiness.
- Drizzle melted peanut butter over the top and sprinkle with crunchy toppings for added texture.
- Refrigerate for at least 240 minutes, or overnight for the best flavor melding.
Notes
For a richer flavor, use high-quality dark chocolate for the ganache.
