Ingredients
- 4 slices of bread (brioche or Texas toast)
- 2 large eggs
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- Butter (for frying)
- Powdered sugar (for dusting)

Instructions
- Use a heart-shaped cookie cutter to cut each slice of bread into heart shapes.
- In a bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, vanilla extract, and cinnamon until well combined.
- Heat a skillet over medium heat and add a pat of butter, allowing it to melt.
- Dip each heart-shaped bread into the egg mixture, soaking for just a few seconds on each side.
- Place the soaked bread on the skillet and cook until golden brown, about 2-3 minutes per side.
- Serve warm, dusted with powdered sugar and adorned with fresh berries.
Notes
For best texture, use thick slices of bread. Avoid soaking the bread too long in the egg mixture.
