Description

A comforting slow-cooked dish combining succulent chicken breasts and tender baby potatoes in a deliciously cheesy garlic sauce.


Ingredients

  • 4 chicken breasts
  • 1.5 lbs baby potatoes
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Fresh parsley for garnish


Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the grated Parmesan cheese, minced garlic, Italian seasoning, salt, pepper, and olive oil.
  2. Coat the chicken breasts well with this flavorful mixture.
  3. Place the chicken breasts in your slow cooker.
  4. Arrange the baby potatoes around the chicken.
  5. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours, until the chicken is fully cooked and the potatoes are tender.
  6. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.

Notes

For a crispy finish, broil the cooked chicken for a couple of minutes before serving. Optionally, add crushed red pepper flakes for some heat.
