Quick and nutritious energy balls made with oats, nut butter, and dried fruits, perfect for a snack anytime.
Ingredients
- 1 cup old-fashioned rolled oats
- 1/2 cup natural nut butter (peanut or almond)
- 1/3 cup honey or maple syrup
- 2 tbsp chia seeds
- 1/2 cup dried fruits (raisins or cranberries)
- 1/4 cup dark chocolate chips (optional)
Instructions
- Gather all ingredients and tools for a streamlined process.
- In a large bowl, combine the rolled oats, chia seeds, and any dry ingredients.
- Stir in the nut butter and honey (or maple syrup) until they’re fully mixed.
- Gently fold in the dried fruits and any optional chocolate chips.
- Roll the mixture into balls, about 1 inch in diameter, and place them on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
- Chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes to firm them up before serving.
Notes
Store in an airtight container for up to a week in the fridge or freeze for up to three months. If using nut butter from the fridge, microwave for 10-15 seconds to make mixing easier.
