Description

Quick and nutritious energy balls made with oats, nut butter, and dried fruits, perfect for a snack anytime.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup old-fashioned rolled oats
  • 1/2 cup natural nut butter (peanut or almond)
  • 1/3 cup honey or maple syrup
  • 2 tbsp chia seeds
  • 1/2 cup dried fruits (raisins or cranberries)
  • 1/4 cup dark chocolate chips (optional)

Instructions

  1. Gather all ingredients and tools for a streamlined process.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the rolled oats, chia seeds, and any dry ingredients.
  3. Stir in the nut butter and honey (or maple syrup) until they’re fully mixed.
  4. Gently fold in the dried fruits and any optional chocolate chips.
  5. Roll the mixture into balls, about 1 inch in diameter, and place them on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  6. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes to firm them up before serving.

Notes

Store in an airtight container for up to a week in the fridge or freeze for up to three months. If using nut butter from the fridge, microwave for 10-15 seconds to make mixing easier.
