Ingredients
- 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Chopped parsley for garnish
- Lemon wedges for serving
Instructions
- In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat.
- Add the minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.
- Toss in the shrimp and cook until they turn pink and opaque, roughly 2-3 minutes per side.
- Pour in the heavy cream, then add the Parmesan cheese, salt, and pepper. Stir well until combined.
- Let the mixture simmer for a few minutes, allowing the sauce to thicken slightly.
- Garnish your dish with chopped parsley and serve with lemon wedges.
Notes
For a lighter version, substitute heavy cream with half-and-half or milk. When reheating, do it on low heat to prevent separation of the cream.
