Description

A sumptuous yet easy pasta dish featuring plump shrimp in a luscious garlic cream sauce.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Chopped parsley for garnish
  • Lemon wedges for serving


Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat.
  2. Add the minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.
  3. Toss in the shrimp and cook until they turn pink and opaque, roughly 2-3 minutes per side.
  4. Pour in the heavy cream, then add the Parmesan cheese, salt, and pepper. Stir well until combined.
  5. Let the mixture simmer for a few minutes, allowing the sauce to thicken slightly.
  6. Garnish your dish with chopped parsley and serve with lemon wedges.

Notes

For a lighter version, substitute heavy cream with half-and-half or milk. When reheating, do it on low heat to prevent separation of the cream.
