Description
A quick and easy Texas Roadhouse-style salmon with a sticky, sweet-savory glaze that caramelizes beautifully and delivers restaurant-style flavors in just minutes.
Ingredients
- 4 6 oz salmon fillets (skin-on recommended)
- 1/4 cup brown sugar (packed)
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons melted butter
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Combine the brown sugar, soy sauce, melted butter, honey, garlic powder, black pepper, and paprika in a small bowl. Stir until mostly dissolved.
- Pat the salmon fillets dry with paper towels and lightly season with garlic powder and black pepper.
- Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat and add a thin film of oil. Place the fillets skin-side down and sear for about 4–5 minutes.
- Carefully flip each fillet and spoon the prepared glaze over the top. Cook for 1–2 minutes while basting.
- Continue to baste until the glaze is tacky and coats the fillets. Remove from heat and rest for a minute before serving.
Notes
For less sweetness, reduce brown sugar and honey. Use skin-on salmon for best texture and maintain a quick cooking process without over-flipping.
