Description

A comforting dish of tender chicken breasts enveloped in creamy gravy, perfect for busy weeknights or family dinners.


Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup
  • 1 packet ranch seasoning mix
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Cooked rice or mashed potatoes for serving


Instructions

  1. Place the chicken breasts in the slow cooker.
  2. In a bowl, mix together the cream of chicken soup, ranch seasoning mix, and chicken broth until well combined.
  3. Pour the mixture over the chicken in the slow cooker.
  4. Cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 4 hours, until the chicken is tender and easily shredded.
  5. Once done, shred the chicken directly in the gravy and stir until everything is nicely mixed.
  6. Serve over freshly cooked rice or fluffy mashed potatoes.

Notes

For a zestier flavor, try adding a splash of lemon juice or sautéed mushrooms. You can also swap the ranch seasoning for taco seasoning for a different twist.
