Description

A comforting and easy-to-prepare dish featuring tender chicken infused with zesty lemon and garlicky buttery goodness, perfect for busy weeknights.

Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1/4 cup butter, melted
  • 1 lemon, juiced
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Chopped parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine the melted butter, lemon juice, minced garlic, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
  2. Place the chicken breasts in your crock pot, ensuring they are neatly arranged at the bottom.
  3. Pour the lemon garlic mixture over the chicken breasts, making sure each piece is coated.
  4. Cover and cook on low for 6-7 hours or on high for 4-5 hours, until the chicken is cooked through and tender.
  5. Once cooked, garnish with chopped parsley before serving.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container for 3-4 days in the fridge or freeze for longer storage. To reheat, use the microwave or oven with a little added moisture.
