Description

Deliciously crispy loaded hashbrown bites that are easy to make and perfect for any gathering.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups frozen hashbrowns (or fresh, rinsed and dried)
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (or dairy-free cheese for a vegan option)
  • 1/2 cup bacon bits (or plant-based bacon bits)
  • 1/4 cup green onions, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Combine all the ingredients in a large bowl: frozen hashbrowns, shredded cheese, bacon bits, green onions, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until thoroughly combined.
  3. Form the mixture into small balls or tots and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  4. Bake for about 20-25 minutes, or until golden and crispy, flipping them halfway through.
  5. Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before serving.

Notes

Serve with dips like sour cream or ranch dressing for added flavor. Can be refrigerated for 3-4 days or frozen for two months.
