Ingredients
- 2 cups frozen hashbrowns (or fresh, rinsed and dried)
- 1 cup shredded cheese (or dairy-free cheese for a vegan option)
- 1/2 cup bacon bits (or plant-based bacon bits)
- 1/4 cup green onions, chopped
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Combine all the ingredients in a large bowl: frozen hashbrowns, shredded cheese, bacon bits, green onions, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until thoroughly combined.
- Form the mixture into small balls or tots and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake for about 20-25 minutes, or until golden and crispy, flipping them halfway through.
- Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before serving.
Notes
Serve with dips like sour cream or ranch dressing for added flavor. Can be refrigerated for 3-4 days or frozen for two months.
