A creamy and comforting pasta bake with shrimp, garlic, and cheese that’s perfect for family meals and gatherings.
Ingredients
- 8 oz pasta (penne or fusilli)
- 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 cups heavy cream
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente, then drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
- Add the shrimp to the skillet and cook until pink and opaque, about 3-4 minutes.
- Stir in the heavy cream and half of the Parmesan cheese, seasoning with salt and pepper to enhance the flavors.
- In a large bowl, combine the cooked pasta with the shrimp and cream mixture, stirring thoroughly to coat the pasta evenly.
- Transfer the mixture to a baking dish and sprinkle the remaining Parmesan and mozzarella cheese on top.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the top is golden and bubbly.
- Garnish with freshly chopped parsley before serving.
Notes
Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. To reheat, place in the oven at 350°F until heated through.
