Description

A comforting creamy chicken pasta dish made effortlessly in a crockpot, perfect for busy weeknights.

Ingredients

  • 2 chicken breasts
  • 8 oz pasta (like penne or rotini)
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 cup shredded parmesan cheese
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Chopped parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Place the chicken breasts in the crockpot.
  2. In a separate bowl, combine the heavy cream, chicken broth, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
  3. Pour the creamy mixture over the chicken in the crockpot.
  4. Cover and set your slow cooker to low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours.
  5. About 30 minutes before serving, cook your pasta according to package instructions until al dente.
  6. Once the chicken is fully cooked, shred the chicken directly in the crockpot. Stir in the cooked pasta and parmesan cheese.
  7. Garnish with chopped parsley before serving warm.

Notes

To avoid mushy pasta, always cook it separately before adding it to the crockpot. Marinating the chicken overnight can enhance the flavor.
