A zesty and flavorful marinade for grilled chicken that combines citrus juices and savory Dijon mustard for a delightful twist.
Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
- 3 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- 2 tablespoons orange juice
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 4 chicken breasts
Instructions
- Whisk together the Dijon mustard, olive oil, lemon juice, orange juice, minced garlic, salt, and black pepper until fully combined.
- Place the chicken breasts in a resealable bag or a shallow dish, then pour the marinade over the chicken, ensuring it’s well-coated.
- Seal the bag or cover the dish and allow the chicken to marinate in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes, or overnight for best results.
- Preheat your grill to medium heat.
- Remove the chicken from the marinade and grill each side for about 6-7 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F.
- Let the chicken rest for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
For extra flavor, reserve some marinade for dipping sauce. This marinade can also enhance chicken thighs or drumsticks.
