Description

Decadent brownies topped with chocolate-covered strawberries, perfect for any occasion.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsalted butter
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup cocoa powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup chocolate chips
  • 2 cups fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced
  • 1 cup semisweet chocolate for dipping


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease your preferred baking pan.
  2. In a large bowl, melt the butter and mix in the sugar until blended well.
  3. Beat in the eggs one by one, and then add in the vanilla extract.
  4. Incorporate the flour, cocoa powder, and salt, mixing until just combined. Fold in the chocolate chips.
  5. Pour the brownie batter into the prepared pan and bake for 25-30 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean.
  6. Allow the brownies to cool completely at room temperature.
  7. Melt the chocolate for dipping, using either a microwave or a double boiler.
  8. Dip each sliced strawberry into the melted chocolate, then place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  9. Once the chocolate has set, arrange the chocolate-covered strawberries over the cooled brownies.
  10. Cut the brownies into squares and serve.
