Decadent brownies topped with chocolate-covered strawberries, perfect for any occasion.
Ingredients
- 1 cup unsalted butter
- 2 cups sugar
- 4 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup cocoa powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup chocolate chips
- 2 cups fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced
- 1 cup semisweet chocolate for dipping
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease your preferred baking pan.
- In a large bowl, melt the butter and mix in the sugar until blended well.
- Beat in the eggs one by one, and then add in the vanilla extract.
- Incorporate the flour, cocoa powder, and salt, mixing until just combined. Fold in the chocolate chips.
- Pour the brownie batter into the prepared pan and bake for 25-30 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Allow the brownies to cool completely at room temperature.
- Melt the chocolate for dipping, using either a microwave or a double boiler.
- Dip each sliced strawberry into the melted chocolate, then place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Once the chocolate has set, arrange the chocolate-covered strawberries over the cooled brownies.
- Cut the brownies into squares and serve.
Notes
For best results, use fresh strawberries and ensure eggs are at room temperature.
