Description

A quick and savory one-pan meal that perfectly balances tender beef with crisp broccoli in a flavorful sauce.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb beef (sirloin or flank steak), thinly sliced
  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon ginger, minced
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Cooked rice for serving

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine the thinly sliced beef, soy sauce, oyster sauce, and cornstarch. Mix well and marinate for about 15 minutes.
  2. Heat the vegetable oil in a large pan over medium-high heat. Add the minced garlic and ginger, sautéing until fragrant.
  3. Add the marinated beef to the pan and cook it until it turns brown.
  4. Toss in the broccoli florets and stir-fry until they are tender yet still crisp.
  5. Season the dish with salt and pepper to taste.
  6. Serve the beef and broccoli over cooked rice for a complete meal.

Notes

For alternative proteins, you can swap out the beef for chicken or tofu. Consider adding bell peppers or snap peas for more flavor, or hoisin sauce for a sweet twist.
