Description

A delicious and nutritious breakfast made with rolled oats, brown sugar, and bananas, perfect for busy mornings.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups rolled oats
  • 4 tablespoons chia seeds
  • 3-4 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1 cup mashed banana (about 2 ripe bananas)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 pinch salt
  • ¼ teaspoon cinnamon (or more, according to taste)
  • 2 cups milk

Instructions

  1. Mix together the rolled oats, chia seeds, brown sugar, mashed bananas, cinnamon, salt, vanilla extract, and milk in a large bowl.
  2. Stir the ingredients until fully combined, ensuring the oats are well coated with the mixture.
  3. Cover the bowl with a lid or plastic wrap and place it in the refrigerator.
  4. Let the mixture sit for at least 240 minutes, or better yet, overnight.
  5. Enjoy by scooping out a portion and adding your favorite toppings.

Notes

For a thicker consistency, reduce the amount of milk. Use very ripe bananas for the sweetest flavor. You can also mix in nut butter for added creaminess and protein.
