Ingredients
- 2 cups rolled oats
- 4 tablespoons chia seeds
- 3-4 tablespoons brown sugar
- 1 cup mashed banana (about 2 ripe bananas)
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 pinch salt
- ¼ teaspoon cinnamon (or more, according to taste)
- 2 cups milk
Instructions
- Mix together the rolled oats, chia seeds, brown sugar, mashed bananas, cinnamon, salt, vanilla extract, and milk in a large bowl.
- Stir the ingredients until fully combined, ensuring the oats are well coated with the mixture.
- Cover the bowl with a lid or plastic wrap and place it in the refrigerator.
- Let the mixture sit for at least 240 minutes, or better yet, overnight.
- Enjoy by scooping out a portion and adding your favorite toppings.
Notes
For a thicker consistency, reduce the amount of milk. Use very ripe bananas for the sweetest flavor. You can also mix in nut butter for added creaminess and protein.
