Transform ordinary chicken into a culinary masterpiece with this flavorful marinade featuring balsamic vinegar, soy sauce, and rosemary.


Ingredients

  • ½ cup extra virgin olive oil
  • ½ cup balsamic vinegar
  • ¼ cup low-sodium soy sauce
  • ¼ cup Worcestershire sauce
  • ⅛ cup fresh lemon juice
  • ¾ cup brown sugar
  • 2 teaspoons dried rosemary
  • 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 6 chicken breasts (approximately 3.5 lbs of chicken)


Instructions

  1. Combine the extra virgin olive oil, balsamic vinegar, soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, lemon juice, brown sugar, dried rosemary, Dijon mustard, salt, and pepper in a large mixing bowl.
  2. Whisk to blend all ingredients well, ensuring a harmonious combination of flavors.
  3. Reserve half a cup of this marinade for later use.
  4. Place your chicken in a resealable bag and pour the remaining marinade over it.
  5. Seal the bag and gently massage it to coat the chicken evenly.
  6. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, but consider marinating for up to 24 hours for optimal flavor absorption.
  7. Grill the chicken until charred and fully cooked, serving alongside a zesty herb sauce or a spread of hummus.
