Ingredients
- ½ cup extra virgin olive oil
- ½ cup balsamic vinegar
- ¼ cup low-sodium soy sauce
- ¼ cup Worcestershire sauce
- ⅛ cup fresh lemon juice
- ¾ cup brown sugar
- 2 teaspoons dried rosemary
- 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 6 chicken breasts (approximately 3.5 lbs of chicken)
Instructions
- Combine the extra virgin olive oil, balsamic vinegar, soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, lemon juice, brown sugar, dried rosemary, Dijon mustard, salt, and pepper in a large mixing bowl.
- Whisk to blend all ingredients well, ensuring a harmonious combination of flavors.
- Reserve half a cup of this marinade for later use.
- Place your chicken in a resealable bag and pour the remaining marinade over it.
- Seal the bag and gently massage it to coat the chicken evenly.
- Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, but consider marinating for up to 24 hours for optimal flavor absorption.
