Description

A comforting casserole loaded with seasoned ground beef, tender russet potatoes, and a creamy sauce that’s perfect for family dinners.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 3 large russet potatoes, sliced
  • 2 cups cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 1 cup shredded cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Brown the ground beef in a skillet over medium heat, adding chopped onion until softened.
  3. Layer the sliced potatoes in a greased baking dish.
  4. Add the cooked beef mixture on top of the potatoes.
  5. Pour cream of mushroom soup over the layers.
  6. Top with shredded cheese.
  7. Bake for 1 hour, or until the potatoes are tender.
