Ingredients
- 4 salmon fillets
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1/4 cup heavy cream
- 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon lemon zest
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Pat the salmon fillets dry with a paper towel and season them evenly with salt and pepper.
- Arrange the seasoned fillets in a single layer in a baking dish, leaving space between each one.
- In a small saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat, stirring gently until completely melted.
- Add the fresh lemon juice and lemon zest to the melted butter and warm for 30–60 seconds.
- Slowly whisk in the heavy cream until the sauce is smooth and remove from heat.
- Pour the lemon butter cream sauce evenly over the seasoned salmon fillets.
- Bake for 15–20 minutes, until the salmon flakes easily with a fork.
- Remove from the oven, garnish with fresh parsley, and serve immediately.
Notes
Use a shallow baking dish to allow the sauce to hug the fillets. Adjust lemon and salt to taste before serving.
