Ingredients
- 4 salmon fillets, 6 oz each, patted dry
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons butter, melted

- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon paprika
- 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Pat the salmon fillets dry with paper towels.
- Whisk together the brown sugar, soy sauce, melted butter, honey, garlic powder, black pepper, and paprika until smooth.
- Place the salmon fillets skin-side down on the prepared baking sheet, brush with half the glaze, and bake for 8 minutes.
- Remove from the oven, brush with the remaining glaze, and bake an additional 8–10 minutes until flaky and cooked through.
- Let the salmon rest for 2 minutes, then sprinkle with chopped parsley and serve.
Notes
Optimal to dry fillets before glazing for better caramelization. Adjust timing based on fillet thickness and watch for burning sugar during baking.
