Description
Succulent chicken breasts glistening with a sweet and tangy maple glaze, cooked quickly in an air fryer for a weeknight dinner or special occasions.
Ingredients
- 2 chicken breasts
- 1/4 cup maple syrup
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Optional: chopped green onions for garnish
Instructions
- Mix the maple syrup, soy sauce, Dijon mustard, olive oil, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
- Marinate the chicken breasts in that mixture for at least 15 minutes.
- Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
- Lay the marinated chicken breasts in the air fryer basket.
- Cook for 18-20 minutes, or until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (75°C).
- Remove the chicken from the air fryer and let it rest for a few minutes.
- Garnish with chopped green onions if you like, and enjoy your beautifully glazed chicken!
Notes
For additional flavor, consider adding minced garlic or grated ginger. Experiment with the sweetness by adjusting the amount of maple syrup. This recipe is also great for meal prep.
