Description

Warm, bite-sized, and surprisingly light donut holes made with cottage cheese and blueberries, perfect for a quick breakfast or snack.


Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup cottage cheese (full-fat or low-fat)
  • 1 large egg
  • 1/2 cup oat flour
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 1/2 cup fresh blueberries
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • Pinch of salt


Instructions

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 350°F (175°C) and lightly grease the basket.
  2. Whisk the cottage cheese, egg, honey, and salt until mostly smooth.
  3. Add the oat flour and baking powder; stir gently just until combined.
  4. Fold in the blueberries carefully.
  5. Scoop the batter into small rounds (about 1 tablespoon each) and place in the air fryer basket.
  6. Air fry for 8–10 minutes, rotating halfway, until golden and a toothpick comes out mostly clean.
  7. Remove the donut holes and let them cool for 2–3 minutes before serving warm.

Notes

For smoother batter, blend cottage cheese before mixing. Store in an airtight container for up to 3 days, or freeze for up to 1 month.
