Description

A deliciously simple treat that balances sweet and salty, featuring ripe bananas, dark chocolate, and creamy peanut butter.


Ingredients

  • 2 medium semi-ripe bananas
  • 1/2 cup + 2 tablespoons drippy creamy peanut butter
  • 1.5 cups dark chocolate chips
  • 1 teaspoon coconut oil (optional)
  • Flaky sea salt (optional)


Instructions

  1. Line a medium-sized baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Peel and slice the bananas into 1/3-inch thick rounds, arranging them on the parchment.
  3. Spread the creamy peanut butter over the banana slices, then freeze for about 20 minutes.
  4. Melt the chocolate chips with coconut oil in the microwave, stirring until smooth.
  5. Pour the melted chocolate over the frozen banana-peanut butter layer and spread it evenly.
  6. Freeze the tray for 90-120 minutes until solid.
  7. Break the bark into pieces and enjoy!
