Description

Taco Pasta combines the irresistible flavors of tacos with the comforting texture of pasta, ready in just 30 minutes.

Ingredients

  • 8 oz pasta shells
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 can diced tomatoes (14.5 oz)
  • 1 packet taco seasoning
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium heat.
  2. Add ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it apart with a spoon.
  3. Drain excess fat and stir in taco seasoning.
  4. Pour in diced tomatoes and beef broth, then add pasta shells.
  5. Bring to a boil, reduce heat, cover, and simmer for 10-12 minutes until pasta is tender.
  6. Stir in shredded cheese until melted.
  7. Season with salt and pepper to taste, and serve warm.

Notes

For a vegetarian option, substitute ground beef with lentils.
