Taco Pasta combines the irresistible flavors of tacos with the comforting texture of pasta, ready in just 30 minutes.
Ingredients
- 8 oz pasta shells
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 can diced tomatoes (14.5 oz)
- 1 packet taco seasoning
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup beef broth
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium heat.
- Add ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it apart with a spoon.
- Drain excess fat and stir in taco seasoning.
- Pour in diced tomatoes and beef broth, then add pasta shells.
- Bring to a boil, reduce heat, cover, and simmer for 10-12 minutes until pasta is tender.
- Stir in shredded cheese until melted.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste, and serve warm.
Notes
For a vegetarian option, substitute ground beef with lentils.
