Quick and easy biscuits made with just three ingredients, ready in under 20 minutes.
Ingredients
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 1 cup milk
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, whisk together the flour and baking powder until evenly combined.
- Gradually add the milk while stirring with a wooden spoon until a soft, slightly sticky dough forms.
- Turn the dough out onto a lightly floured surface and fold it over itself 4–6 times.
- Pat or roll the dough to about 1/2 inch thickness and cut rounds with a biscuit cutter.
- Place the rounds on the baking sheet with some space between them. Optionally brush the tops with melted butter.
- Bake for 10–12 minutes until golden brown and serve warm.
Notes
For dairy-free options, use unsweetened soy or oat milk. You can substitute half of the all-purpose flour with whole-wheat flour for a nuttier flavor.
