Description

Delightfully flaky puff pastries filled with seasoned ground hamburger, tomatoes, and cheese, offering a unique twist on traditional tacos.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb. ground hamburger
  • 1 packet taco seasoning
  • 1 can diced tomatoes (drained)
  • 1 can diced green chiles (drained)
  • Shredded cheese (your favorite type)
  • 1 package puff pastry

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven according to the puff pastry package instructions.
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, brown the hamburger until fully cooked, draining excess fat.
  3. Stir in the taco seasoning along with the drained diced tomatoes and green chiles.
  4. Roll out the puff pastry on a lightly floured surface and cut into squares.
  5. Place a spoonful of the hamburger mixture in the center of each pastry square and top with cheese.
  6. Fold the pastry over the filling and press down to seal.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven until golden brown, about 10-15 minutes.
  8. Serve warm and enjoy!

Notes

Ensure the puff pastry is properly thawed for the best texture. Customize fillings with additional toppings for extra flavor.
