Description

Ingredients

  • 1 lb chicken breast, sliced
  • 1 medium onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 8 oz mushrooms, sliced
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 2 tbsp flour
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Cooked egg noodles or rice for serving
  • Fresh parsley for garnish


Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add the diced onion and sauté until translucent.
  3. Incorporate the minced garlic and sliced mushrooms, cooking until the mushrooms become tender.
  4. Toss in the sliced chicken and cook until nicely browned.
  5. Sprinkle the flour over the chicken mixture and stir to combine.
  6. Slowly pour in the chicken broth, stirring continuously until the sauce thickens.
  7. Lower the heat and mix in the sour cream until well combined.
