Ingredients
- 1 lb chicken breast, sliced
- 1 medium onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 8 oz mushrooms, sliced
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1 cup sour cream
- 2 tbsp flour
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Cooked egg noodles or rice for serving
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Add the diced onion and sauté until translucent.
- Incorporate the minced garlic and sliced mushrooms, cooking until the mushrooms are tender.
- Toss in the sliced chicken and cook until browned.
- Sprinkle the flour over the chicken mixture and stir to combine.
- Slowly pour in the chicken broth, stirring continuously until the sauce thickens.
- Lower the heat and mix in the sour cream until well combined.
