Description

Delicious homemade baked chicken tenders that are healthy and easy to prepare, perfect for families.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound chicken breast, cut into strips
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs (panko preferred)
  • 1/2 cup flour
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Cooking spray or olive oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Prepare a three-bowl breading station: one with flour, one with beaten eggs, and the last with breadcrumbs mixed with garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  3. Dredge each chicken strip lightly in flour, then dip into the beaten eggs, and roll in the breadcrumb mixture until fully covered.
  4. Arrange the coated chicken tenders on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  5. Lightly spray the tenders with cooking spray or drizzle with olive oil.
  6. Bake for 15-20 minutes, flipping halfway, until the chicken is cooked through and coating is golden brown.

Notes

For extra flavor, marinate chicken strips in spices for a couple of hours before breading. For a spicier kick, add cayenne pepper to the breadcrumb mixture.
