Description

A delightful blend of flavors featuring protein-rich ground turkey, savory bang bang sauce, and fluffy rice, perfect for busy weeknight dinners or weekend gatherings.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground turkey (93% lean or leaner)
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce (low-sodium if preferred)
  • 1 tablespoon sriracha (adjust according to spice preference)
  • 1 teaspoon seasoning (suggested: ½ teaspoon garlic powder + ½ teaspoon onion powder)
  • ½ cup bang bang sauce (store-bought or homemade)
  • 2 cups cooked rice (white, brown, or jasmine)
  • Toppings of your choice: sliced green onions, sesame seeds, shredded carrots, cucumber, steamed broccoli, cilantro, lime wedges

Instructions

  1. Heat a large skillet over medium heat. Add a splash of oil if necessary.
  2. Add the ground turkey to the skillet. Break it into pieces and cook until browned and no longer pink, about 6-8 minutes.
  3. Stir in the soy sauce, sriracha, and seasoning. Cook for an additional 1-2 minutes.
  4. Remove from heat and stir in the bang bang sauce until the turkey is evenly coated.
  5. Divide cooked rice into serving bowls and top with the seasoned turkey.
  6. Add your favorite toppings and serve immediately.

Notes

Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. Reheat in the microwave or skillet.
