Description

Savory French dip flavors transformed into delightful roll ups with melted cheese and roast beef, perfect for any gathering.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb thinly sliced roast beef (deli style or use leftovers)
  • 1½ cups shredded mozzarella or provolone cheese
  • 4 large flour tortillas
  • 2 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon dried parsley
  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder (for the au jus)
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder (for the au jus)
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Lay each tortilla flat and layer the sliced roast beef and shredded cheese down the center.
  3. Roll each tortilla tightly and place them seam-side down on the baking sheet.
  4. Brush the tops with melted butter, then sprinkle with garlic powder, onion powder, and dried parsley.
  5. Bake for 12–15 minutes, or until the tortillas are golden and the cheese is melted.
  6. While these are baking, prepare the au jus. In a saucepan, combine the beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, soy sauce, onion powder, garlic powder, and season with salt and pepper. Simmer for about 5–7 minutes.
  7. Once the roll ups are out of the oven, slice them into bite-sized pieces and serve warm with the au jus for dipping.

Notes

For a spicy kick, add sliced jalapeños or pepper jack cheese. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 5 days.
