Description

A quick and easy Chicken Parmesan casserole that combines cooked pasta and shredded chicken with marinara and cheese, baked until bubbly and golden.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups cooked pasta (penne, rotini, or shells)
  • 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
  • 1 jar (24 oz) marinara sauce
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and lightly grease a 9×13-inch casserole dish.
  2. In a large bowl, combine cooked pasta, shredded chicken, marinara sauce, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Stir until evenly coated.
  3. Spread the mixture into the prepared dish in an even layer.
  4. Sprinkle shredded mozzarella and grated Parmesan evenly over the top.
  5. Bake uncovered for 25–30 minutes, or until cheese is bubbly and browned.
  6. Let the casserole rest for 5 minutes before serving.

Notes

For a crispy topping, sprinkle panko breadcrumbs mixed with olive oil on top before baking. Can be assembled ahead of time and refrigerated.
