Description

A delicious sandwich combining crispy chicken with the classic flavors of a Caesar salad, perfect for a quick meal.


Ingredients

  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 4 slices of bread
  • 1 cup romaine lettuce, chopped
  • 1/2 cup Caesar dressing
  • Optional: additional Parmesan cheese for serving


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the breadcrumbs, grated Parmesan, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  3. Coat each chicken breast thoroughly in the breadcrumb mixture, ensuring a good layer for maximum crunch.
  4. Place the chicken on a baking sheet and bake for 20-25 minutes, or until cooked through and golden brown.
  5. While the chicken bakes, toast the bread slices until golden and crisp.
  6. Once the chicken is done, carefully slice it into strips.
  7. Spread Caesar dressing on one slice of bread, add romaine lettuce, then place the sliced chicken on top.
  8. Sprinkle with additional Parmesan if desired, top with another slice of bread, slice the sandwich in half, and serve immediately.

Notes

For best results, pound chicken to an even thickness. Consider serving with sweet potato fries or a light salad.
