Ingredients
- 2 pounds chicken wings
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional)
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
- Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil and place a wire rack on top.
- In a large bowl, combine chicken wings with olive oil, tossing until coated.
- In a small bowl, mix garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, black pepper, cayenne pepper, and baking powder.
- Sprinkle the spice mixture over the wings and toss until coated.
- Arrange wings in a single layer on the wire rack.
- Bake for 40-45 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden and crispy.
- Remove from oven and let cool for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
For best results, dry chicken wings thoroughly before coating with olive oil. Don’t overcrowd the baking sheet for even cooking.
