Description

Perfectly crispy chicken wings, seasoned and baked to golden brown. A healthier alternative for game days and parties.


Ingredients

  • 2 pounds chicken wings
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional)
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil and place a wire rack on top.
  3. In a large bowl, combine chicken wings with olive oil, tossing until coated.
  4. In a small bowl, mix garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, black pepper, cayenne pepper, and baking powder.
  5. Sprinkle the spice mixture over the wings and toss until coated.
  6. Arrange wings in a single layer on the wire rack.
  7. Bake for 40-45 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden and crispy.
  8. Remove from oven and let cool for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

For best results, dry chicken wings thoroughly before coating with olive oil. Don’t overcrowd the baking sheet for even cooking.
