Description
Indulge in this creamy garlic Parmesan chicken dish that’s quick, budget-friendly, and perfect for weeknights or special occasions.
Ingredients
- 2 large boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 4 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- Fresh chopped parsley for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Slice the chicken breasts in half horizontally or pound them to even thickness. Season both sides with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.
- Heat the olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add the chicken and sear until golden and cooked through—about 4–5 minutes per side. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.
- Lower the heat, add the butter, and the minced garlic. Sauté until fragrant, about a minute.
- Pour in the heavy cream, stirring to deglaze the skillet. Add the grated Parmesan and simmer, letting the sauce thicken for a few minutes.
- Return the chicken to the skillet, letting it simmer in the sauce for 2–3 minutes to heat through and coat well.
Notes
Serve pasta or rice under the chicken and drizzle with sauce. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to three days, or freeze for two months.
