Ingredients

  • 5 cans (14.5 oz each) cut green beans, drained
  • 8 slices bacon, cooked crisp and crumbled
  • 2/3 cup brown sugar (light or dark)
  • 1/4 cup butter, melted
  • 1/4 cup low-sodium soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, cook the bacon until crisp. Drain on paper towels and crumble.
  3. In a medium bowl, whisk together melted butter, brown sugar, soy sauce, garlic powder, and black pepper until smooth.
  4. Place drained green beans in the baking dish, pour sauce over beans and toss to coat. Sprinkle crumbled bacon on top.
  5. Bake uncovered for 25–30 minutes, until bubbly and slightly thickened.
  6. Serve warm and enjoy!

Notes
