Description

A hearty casserole featuring layers of ground beef, creamy mushroom sauce, corn, gooey cheese, and crispy tater tots, perfect for family dinners or potluck gatherings.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 can (15 oz) corn, drained
  • 2 cups shredded cheese (cheddar recommended)
  • 1 bag (32 oz) frozen tater tots
  • 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  2. In a medium skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef until there’s no pink remaining, about 6–8 minutes. Drain any excess fat.
  3. Reduce the heat to low. Stir in the cream of mushroom soup, milk, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Heat until everything is combined and warmed through.
  4. Spread the beef mixture evenly into your prepared baking dish.
  5. Sprinkle the drained corn over the beef layer.
  6. Cover the corn layer generously with shredded cheese.
  7. Arrange the frozen tater tots in a single layer on top of the cheese.
  8. Bake for 30–35 minutes, or until the tater tots are golden brown and crispy, and the casserole is bubbling.
  9. Allow it to rest for 5 minutes before scooping and serving.
