Description
A hearty casserole featuring layers of ground beef, creamy mushroom sauce, corn, gooey cheese, and crispy tater tots, perfect for family dinners or potluck gatherings.
Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 can (15 oz) corn, drained
- 2 cups shredded cheese (cheddar recommended)
- 1 bag (32 oz) frozen tater tots
- 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- In a medium skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef until there’s no pink remaining, about 6–8 minutes. Drain any excess fat.
- Reduce the heat to low. Stir in the cream of mushroom soup, milk, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Heat until everything is combined and warmed through.
- Spread the beef mixture evenly into your prepared baking dish.
- Sprinkle the drained corn over the beef layer.
- Cover the corn layer generously with shredded cheese.
- Arrange the frozen tater tots in a single layer on top of the cheese.
- Bake for 30–35 minutes, or until the tater tots are golden brown and crispy, and the casserole is bubbling.
- Allow it to rest for 5 minutes before scooping and serving.
Notes
Leftovers can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3-4 days. For extended shelf-life, freeze individual portions for up to 3 months.
