Ingredients
- 1 (20oz) container of refrigerated or frozen cheese tortellini
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 (24oz) jar of pasta sauce
- 8 ounces cream cheese, cubed
- 1-2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup grated or shredded parmesan
- Seasoning to taste (salt, garlic powder, black pepper, Italian seasoning)
Instructions
- Cook the tortellini according to package directions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- Preheat your oven to 350°F and grease a 9×13 baking dish.
- In a large skillet, brown the ground beef along with your chosen seasonings.
- Once browned, drain excess grease and stir in the pasta sauce and cubed cream cheese. Let it simmer for a few minutes.
- Gently fold the cooked tortellini into the sauce mixture.
- Transfer the mixture to the prepared baking dish. Sprinkle with shredded mozzarella and parmesan cheese.
- Bake uncovered for about 20 minutes. Switch the oven to broil for an additional 2-3 minutes.
