Description

Crispy fried shrimp topped with zesty ingredients and a creamy, spicy sauce, perfect for any occasion.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 cup buttermilk (for marinating)
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1/2 cup cornstarch
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Vegetable oil, for frying
  • Taco shells
  • 1 avocado, sliced
  • 1/4 cup green onions, sliced
  • 1 cup shredded lettuce
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cup sweet chili sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sriracha


Instructions

  1. Marinate the shrimp in buttermilk for about 30 minutes.
  2. In a separate bowl, mix together flour, cornstarch, salt, and pepper.
  3. Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan over medium-high heat.
  4. Dredge each shrimp in the flour mixture and fry for 2-3 minutes per side until golden brown and crispy.
  5. Mix mayonnaise, sweet chili sauce, and sriracha in a bowl for the Bang Bang Sauce.
  6. Assemble tacos with crispy shrimp, Bang Bang Sauce, avocado, green onions, and lettuce.
  7. Serve immediately while hot.

Notes

Best served warm. Store shrimp and toppings separately if there are leftovers.
