- 4 pieces of chicken breasts
- 1 cup of honey
- 1/4 cup of hot sauce (adjust based on your spice tolerance)
- 1 cup of bread crumbs
- 1 cup of flour
- 2 whole eggs
- 1 tablespoon of salt
- 1 tablespoon of pepper
- 1 tablespoon of garlic powder
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Rinse the chicken breasts and pat them dry with a paper towel.
- Set up your breading station with three bowls: one for flour, one for beaten eggs, and one for breadcrumbs mixed with salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
- Coat each piece of chicken in flour, dip it into the egg, and cover it in the breadcrumb mixture, pressing down gently to ensure it sticks.
- Place the coated chicken on a greased baking sheet, leaving a bit of space between each piece.
- Bake the chicken for 30 minutes, turning halfway through for even cooking.
- While the chicken is baking, mix honey with hot sauce in a bowl.
- Once the chicken is done, baste it evenly with the honey hot sauce mixture.
- Broil the chicken for an additional 5 minutes to achieve extra crispiness.
- Let it cool for a few minutes before serving. Enjoy!
Notes
Double-bread your chicken for extra crunch! Use a meat thermometer to ensure the internal temperature reaches 165°F.
